Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Ballyhoo’s large-format printing, vehicle wraps, event signage, sponsorship graphics, install services, and nationwide logistics.

What does Ballyhoo do?

We specialize in large-format graphics—printing and installing everything from fleet wraps to event signage. If it's big, branded, and on a deadline, it's probably in our wheelhouse.

Where are you located?

We’re based in Ridgefield, WA—but we work nationwide. We ship coast to coast and coordinate installs all over the country.

Do you handle design too?

Yes! We can work with your existing art or help create something from scratch. Our team knows how to design for real-world installs—so your brand looks good at any size.

How fast can you print?

Pretty fast. We run a 24-hour production facility and specialize in tight-turnaround jobs. If you’re in a rush, chances are we can handle it.

What materials do you use?

It depends on the job. We primarily use 3M and high-performance vinyls designed for short-term events or long-term installs—plus banner materials, window perf, and rigid signage.

Do you print everything in-house?

Yes, we handle all production at our Ridgefield facility. That means tighter quality control, faster timelines, and fewer surprises.

Do you install outside Washington?

All the time. We coordinate installs nationally through trusted partners and frequently manage multi-yard, multi-vendor jobs in major cities.

What if the vehicle or space changes last minute?

We’re used to that. We build flexibility into our plans and often pivot mid-project. We’ve rerouted installers, replaced vehicles, and adapted on the fly—without holding up the show.

Can you help with removals?

Absolutely. We can schedule graphic removals after your event or campaign wraps—at the yard, at the venue, or wherever’s most convenient.

How early should I reach out?

The earlier the better—but we’ve turned projects around in 48 hours when needed. If you’ve got specs, a deadline, and a sense of what you need, we’ll take it from there.

What types of projects do you handle most often?

We do a lot of shuttle graphics for major conferences, sponsor wraps for sporting events, fleet branding for growing businesses, and construction signage for developers. But we’ve also wrapped golf carts, elevators, trailers, and even sidewalks.

Can you help me sell sponsorships?

Definitely. We often work with clients before the sale—mocking up sample graphics or suggesting assets to include in their pitch decks. We've helped teams close big deals that way.

Do you offer quotes?

Yes—just send us the project details (what, when, where) and we’ll get a quote back to you fast.

Do you require deposits?

Sometimes, especially for first-time clients or high-volume print runs. We’ll clarify everything before we start.

What file types do you accept?

We prefer print-ready vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) with outlined fonts and proper bleed—but we can work with just about anything. If you're unsure, send what you’ve got—we’ll guide you from there.

Can you help me adjust my artwork for different bus models or window configurations?

Yes. We routinely tailor designs for multiple vehicle types and will flag any areas that need to shift for doors, vents, or emergency exits.

What if I don’t have a logo in high resolution?

We can usually recreate or convert low-res logos into print-ready files. Just ask—we’ve done it a hundred times.

Can you handle unique or oversized wraps?

Absolutely. We’ve wrapped everything from golf carts to 40-foot coaches and even built custom vinyl solutions for odd-shaped structures. If it holds still, we can probably wrap it.

Do you print temporary signage for short-term events?

All the time. We specialize in signage that looks good for a weekend—and removes cleanly on Monday.

Can you ship graphics to other installers or show sites?

Yes. We regularly ship labeled, organized kits to venues, installers, or client teams across the U.S.—often with guides and install proofs included.

Can you coordinate installs across multiple cities or vendors?

Definitely. We’ve handled multi-city campaigns, coordinated install teams in different time zones, and managed overnight installs before back-to-back events.

What if something goes wrong during install?

We’re known for solving problems fast. If something doesn’t fit, a bus changes last-minute, or you need a reprint—chances are we’ve dealt with it before and already have a plan.
